In 2020, at the 23rd Annual Convention of the Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association, a resolution was made and adopted that the OPFFA obtain a permit for members to participate in the Toronto Pride Parade.

This June, the OPFFA will join more than 200,000 marchers and 2.6 million spectators to celebrate diversity and inclusion.
The OPFFA has obtained a permit which entitles 100 members to march in the parade on Sunday, 29th June 2025 at 1PM (Park Rd. and Rosedale Valley).

In order to participate, you will need to register using the form below.

Availability is based on first signed up - first in - to a maximum of 100 participants.

The Festival Weekend is Thursday, June 26, 2025 - Sunday, June 29, 2025. The Parade will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, starting at 2 p.m. and will be approximately 4 hours in duration, depending on the number of participants and contingents.

Date: Sunday, June 29th, 2025

Parade starts: 1:00 PM (Our group will start marching at 1:00 pm. be prepared to arrive early).

End time: 6:00 PM

Meeting point: Yonge St. and Aylmer Ave.

Closer TTC Station: Bloor & Yonge

What to bring?

Water (water will be provided along the parade route, but it is highly recommended to bring your own).
Light snacks
Sunscreen
Hats

What to not bring?

Confetti, paper streamers, and water guns.
Animals are not allowed in the Parade with the exception of certified service animals

Parade Route

Start of Parade Route: The Parade route begins at the intersection of Yonge St. and Alymer Ave., proceeds westbound on Church Street, southbound on Yonge Street, and west on Dundas Street W. Marchers will be ushered south on Bay St. to enter Nathan Phillips Square.
